B-Side Band

The B-Side Band of bandleader Josef Buchta is one of the most prominent musical groups on the Czech scene. Since its creation in 2006, the group has made a significant impact not only in our country, but also abroad. Their renewed premiere of the final extended version of Jaromír Hnilička's Missy Jazz, new collaborations with various artists from across the Czech music scene and featurings with international music stars and Grammy winners, such as Kurt Elling, Judith Hill, New York Voices or The Puppini Sisters, prove that B-Side Band belongs to the top of its genre. With their ability to break genre boundaries and bring big band music to the main stages of the biggest international festivals, such as Colours of Ostrava, Metronome or Rock for People, they managed to gain recognition from fans and critics not only here, but also abroad. In addition to sold-out nationwide tours and big concerts, B-Side Band also performed on the prestigious stages of the Smetanova Litomyšl, MHF Český Krumlov or Karlovy Vary IFF.
