Bafni

Improvisational theater Bafni was founded in 2009. It regularly performs its shows in Brno at ArtBar and in Prague at Na Prádle Theatre. He also performs at events throughout the Czech Republic. The basis of a theatrical performance is pure improvisation. Actors improvise skits on themes assigned by the audience. There is no script, no prescribed roles. Everything is created directly on the stage in front of the audience, accompanied by live musical improvisation.

In terms of short forms of improvisation, the theater mainly presents thematic improvisation evenings (thematic improshows). This is a format in which the players improvise short skits on topics from the audience and are accompanied by a moderator during the evening. The entire evening is always somehow themed. In addition to this, the association also deals with longer improvisational formats.

The members of the Bafni improvisation theater are actresses Kateřina Fafílková, Simona Trávníčková, actors Josef Zachar, Jan Labohý, Michal Sankot, Michal Studnička, Mojmír Vacek, Václav Wortner and pianist Lukáš Habanero. The Bafni Kurzy Improvisation Theater also organizes improvisation courses for the public.
