Bayonne

Bayonne is the musical project of American composer and multi-instrumentalist Roger Sellers, working in Austin. Originally releasing music under his own name, his early work included the albums Moments (2011) and 8 Songs (2012). In 2016, he adopted the stage name Bayonne and re-released the album Primitives, which represents the beginning of his work oriented towards electronic music based on loop layering and live looping.

The Bayonne project is characterized by a combination of electronic production, vocal lines and acoustic elements, while the author uses simultaneous work with multiple instruments and looping techniques in studio and concert activities. In 2019, he released the second album Drastic Measures, on which he develops the principle of sound layering and structured compositions inspired by pop and experimental music.

Further development of his work is represented by the album Temporary Time (2023), which was created in collaboration with other musicians and producers and is thematically based on the personal experiences of the author. It was followed by an orchestral version of Temporary Time (Orchestrated) from 2024, realized in collaboration with arranger Nathaniel Earle.

Current work includes more recent singles released after 2023, for example Torched (2025), and continued concert activity on the international stage.
