Berlin Writers: Poetry, Storytelling and More

Group founded by the organizers of The Read Wedding Open mic, which occurs on the last Monday of every month at Vagabund Brauerei's Taproom location in Wedding. The open mic was founded by regular attendees and fans of Berlin Spoken Word, with the intention of further building spaces for spoken word in the city and doing so in a broader range of neighborhoods.

This group intends to bring together individuals interested in sharing their writing, hearing and supporting others' work, or just to spend a night doing something a bit different, particularly in the neighborhoods of Berlin in which these events happen less often. We welcome all languages and themes, but will not tolerate racism, sexism, queerphobia, transphobia, or any such form of hate.
