Berliner Weisse

Berliner Weisse is Berlin's punk oi! a band that was formed in 2000 and played its first concerts in the same year. The originally nameless band got its name only on this occasion, after one drunken night, in a beer special from the German capital.

In its songs, the band sings about typical skinhead themes, such as the so-called skinhead "way of life" (excessive alcohol consumption) and, unlike what is often common in the scene, is not necessarily taken too seriously. They distance themselves from Nazi bands in particular with songs like Keine Toleranz, Fahnen im Wind and Thor Steinar.
