Bifidus Aktif

Bifidus Aktif is a drum and bass DJ from the Czech Republic and booking manager of the Let It Roll, Imagination / Devastator festivals and the Storm club in Prague.

Bifidus Aktif is about drum and bass interested him for several years, but it wasn't until he got to writing for Shadowbox that his acquaintance with other DJs, led by Akira, kicked him into starting an addiction to finding, buying and playing vinyl. At the turn of 2004 and 2005, he began to "touch" them and soon after that he was spinning his "cakes" in clubs in western Bohemia and Prague.

During his DJ career, he traveled a large part of Bohemia and Slovakia and played alongside several world DJ aces. In his sets, he prefers a modern dance sound, which he combines with liquid funk and tech step; however, his bag also includes dreamy, atmospheric and deep tracks from, for example, the Subtitles label.
