Bookie Baker

Bookie Baker is a modern folk duo consisting of Irishman Caolan O'Neill-Forde and Canadian Alex Montyro. Their musical journey together began almost ten years ago in China and has been full of adventure from the beginning. After being arrested and subsequently banned from performing, the pair moved to Prague, where they built up a reputation in a few years thanks to their distinctive storytelling style, innovative musical arrangements and natural expression. Recently, Bookie Baker has also been joined at concerts by the American double bassist Zack Slouka and Lucie Flemrová.
