DJ Cejn, real name Mirek Jelínek, got to the big Techno Open-Air Svojšice festival for the first time in 1997. That captivated him. In 2004, he bought record players, bought his first records and started trying to play. Important parties of the time were held in Zruč's legendary club Pod Zámkem and its catacombs. He had a regular night in XT3 in Prague. He played in CZ Beat, Styx and various other venues in Prague. He heard psychedelic music for the first time at the Goa party in 2001, in Štvanice, where Parasence Live performed. Yet he was still influenced by techno. After 2005, however, it stopped satisfying him. He started listening to psytrance and goa in 2007. DJane Lolla helped him play. He has found his own direction, and he tries to demonstrate that behind the mixing desk as well. He likes all forms of psytrance, "fortunately", as he says, because he does not like uncompromising stylistic sharpness. That's why he plays from progressive to dark.
