Cubik

Cubik, whose real name is Jakub Šmejkal, has been playing actively since 1995. He belongs to other old school DJs who have been active on our electronic music scene for many years. He is not the standard DJ that crowds of enthusiastic fans flock to, but that does not diminish his DJ art at all. On the contrary, his sets are elaborate, energetic and, above all, danceable. He first started playing in the Újezd club, later in the XT3 club and Punto Azil. One of his first big parties, organized by the Lighthouse agency, was at the Roxy in 1997, where he played alongside Colin Dale.
