Da Moon

Da Moon is a music enthusiast, DJ and producer originally from Pilsen, currently living in Prague. He loves the synthetic sound of house and techno, which are among his most frequently played genres. He likes to diversify his sets with the motifs of indie rock, dub, soul, jazz.

He already gained experience in discotheques with his father as a child. In 2001, he started spinning vinyl behind the mixing desk, and after just four years he became a resident at the Mazaný králíček DJ bar in Pilsen. This was followed by resident nights such as E_music at the In Spiral club or Dance In The Sky at the Sky bar on the roof of the only high-rise building in the center of Pilsen.

Demo mix Architecture was named demo mix of the month in Xmag magazine in 2005. A year later, he gets a resident night Renaissance in the new Pilsen club PH+, which later changed its name to his radio show Moonlighting. Here, in addition to his current sound, he regularly presented interesting guests from countries such as Australia, England, Hungary or Austria. These guests were then complemented by no less interesting domestic DJs and producers.
