Dalibor Karvay
Slovak violinist Dalibor Karvay is often referred to as a miraculous child: he started playing the violin in three and a half years, four years later he had already presented himself at a public concert and had already made several recordings for Slovak Radio at the time of his studies at the Elementary Art School. As an eight -year -old he won the Golden Prize at the International Kocian's Violin Competition, and at the age of eleven he released his first CD. He graduated from the Žilinská and later the Vienna Conservatory, where he also won the first prize in the violin competition in 2002. He participated in prestigious cultural events, such as a concert in the Vatican in honor of Pope John Paul II, a benefit concert for the United Nations or Week of Slovak Culture in Spain. He regularly performs in Europe, North and South America and Asian countries. He also focuses intensively with chamber game, most often cooperate with soloists Radek Baborák, Julian Rachlin, Boris Kuschnir and others.
