David Danel

Violinist David Danel is a laureate of the Beethovenův Hradec competition and the competition L. Janáček in Brno. As a soloist, he performed with the Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra Ostrava, Capella Istropolitan, the Slovak Chamber Orchestra, Talich Chamber Orchestra, Dartington Summer Festival. It often records chamber compositions for Czech Radio, but also focuses on premiere recordings of contemporary authors. He intensively devoted himself to chamber music, especially in the ensembles Camerata Janáček and Ensemble Moravia. He worked pedagogically at the Crescendo Summer Institute 2005 in Hungary. He occasionally is a visiting concert champion in Bilbao Philharmonia and currently works as a member of the Prague Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra and the ensembles of contemporary music MOENS (Mondschein) and Early Reflections.
