Dominik Prok

Dominik Prok (52 Hertz Whale) released a (quiet) solo album in June 2023, which is the culmination of his long-term dream of independent artistic realization. The album there is no rescue mission, we are safe is the Slovak answer to the tradition of American and British songwriting, of which he is a big fan and admirer. However, this is not a mindless copy. It is an honest statement of one life chapter, which he copes with in his own way. By music.

The title of the album there is no rescue mission, we are safe is a reference to a poem or series of verses that appears in his favorite mini-series/story, Station 11, which was based on the book model by Emily St. John Mandel. It is a piece of hope in a self-created dystopia.
