Don Carlos

Don Carlos comes from Varese in northern Italy and has been DJing since the late 1970s. He debuted as a producer in 1991 with the single Alone released by Calypso Records (Irma), which became one of the cult tracks of the international deep house scene, a meditative archetype of dream house. His production always combined house rhythms with African-American jazz sounds, sometimes bordering on disco, progressive house or electronic soul.
