DS Vojan Desná – Mladá Haluz

The Vojan theater group, also called Mladá haluz, is a volunteer theater, it was founded on October 1, 1945 at TJ Sokol in Dolní Polubné.

The volunteer theater in Desná in the Jizerské hory has a long tradition, historical sources date activities of local volunteers since 1874. Modern history has been written since 2005, when the epithet Mladá was added to the original name haluz DS Vojan Desná – Mladá haluz focuses mainly on fairy tales and comedies. In 2023, the association's dramaturgy expanded with the chamber drama Kyanid and the fifth and now "monodrama in two" Dospelé dítě, in which two young actresses Anna Holcová and Lucie Víravová will be presented under directed by Petra Frydrychová.
