EnsembleSpectrum

The EnsembleSpectrum chamber ensemble consists mostly of students from Slovak and foreign art universities. They are musicians passionate about contemporary classical music and form the OZ Ensemble Spectrum, which was founded in 2012 on the grounds of the University of Performing Arts as a reaction to the vacuum of perception of contemporary art. Their main mission is the intensive improvement of cultural heritage, especially in the field of music in a broader sense. The Slovak music scene often premieres the works of young authors, of course not only from Slovakia, but also from abroad. They consider such a contribution to be very important, as they try to place these works in the mutual international dialogue of serious music of the 20th and 21st centuries.
