Fats Jazz Band

Fats Jazz Band is an authentic hot jazz and swing orchestra - band leader Ladislav Fančovič listens and transcribes arrangements from the original old recordings into sheet music in the form of transcription. That is why early jazz can be heard in their performance exactly as it was played by the jazz legends of today. Reconstructed musical instruments, period clothing and the overall expression of the orchestra and singers complete the authentic period atmosphere and sound. Despite its, one might say, old-fashionedness, the sound of an orchestra evokes something timeless in people. Fats Jazz Band brings ancient songs, which it transfers to the present with its spontaneous interpretation.
