Filmmakers & Movie Nerds

Dear Movie Nerds. We are having a Summer Break from July 28 until August 31st. That’s why we canceled the events.
The first meetup will take place again on September 1st. This will also be the end and screening of our seasonal challenge with the topic:
„What a coincidence“

Have a great summer 🤗❤️

Are you a filmmaker or want to become one?
Would you like to meet fellow movie enthusiasts?
Then this might be the place you should come to.

This group is for all people who what to start creating movies:

* Writers
* Directors
* Actors
* Editor
* Graders
* Gaffers
* DOPs / photographers

We're an international bunch of film enthusiasts, primarily based in Berlin, with different backgrounds who want to make short movies together. The levels of experience across the group differ from people who have never stepped foot on a film set to people who have already worked in the industry for decades.

Maybe you can act, write a script, record audio, tell a story like no one else, color-grade a movie to look amazing, produce, organize a crazy collective like us, host a film crew at your flat, know amazing locations... you are all welcome.

Roles vary across projects. A director might try sound recording... a make-up artist may like to try acting. Anything is possible.

We meet every Sunday at 17:00 at [Workish, Harzer Straße 69, Berlin](https://goo.gl/maps/rJE83kWCschkSpsY7).

You can check out our [website](https://www.filmmakersandmovienerds.com/).

**UPDATE**: Since we have to start paying for our location, we need support from the community. We decided to start a monthly contribution of 15€ (10€ discounted) to be able to pay the location and the create of an non-profit association (gemeinnütziger Verein).
Of course you can come and check out the meetup before deciding if you want to join.
