Finding Friends (for PDX Mid-Lifers)

Are you in your 40s, 50s, or 60s and looking to expand your social circle? This group is designed to bring people together in fun, low-stress, interactive ways.

**Speed-FRIENDING**
These free events are hosted by the West Linn Library and give everyone the chance for a brief conversation with everyone else, regardless of gender or relationship status. Knowing everyone’s there for the same reason – to make new friends -- makes it somewhat easier to put yourself out there!

These events are *not* romantic in nature and you do *not* have to live or work in W.Linn to participate – all who are able and willing to be kind, respectful, and good-natured are welcome including singles, individuals who are partnered, as well as couples looking for friends to socialize with as a couple.

**MEET'CHA THERE's**
Select events happening in the community or hosted by other MeetUp organizers are posted as well, providing added opportunities to get out and meet others.  As with all the other events, those who are able to be kind and respectful are welcome.

**INVITATION**
Come -- expand your social network, discover new interests, explore new friendships, and have a *great time* in the process. We can't wait to meet you!

**NOTE**
The focus of this group and its events is on meeting people, enjoying conversation, and potentially forging new relationships, either platonic or romantic. Please, no youngins and no soliciting.
