Freak Power

Freak Power is a British band formed in 1993 by bassist Norman Cook (later known as Fatboy Slim), Ashley Slater (singer and trombonist) and backing vocalist Jesse Graham. In this line-up under the Freak Power banner, they released two albums together: Drive-Thru Booty (1994) and More of Everything For Everybody (1996), before each releasing their own on the way Norman Cook became the producer and DJ known worldwide as Fatboy Slim, while Ashley Slater later revived Freak Power, taking over the reins of the band's leader and with a group of younger musicians continuing to keep the band flowing. Their music is a mixture of acid jazz, funk, soul and trip hop.
