Furt

Furt is an electronic composition-performance duo founded by Richard Barrett and Paul Obermayer in 1986 in London. Furt's dense and complex musical forms are created at every level by the interplay of free improvisation and systematic composition and primarily use specific (sampled/processed) materials. This activity is primarily concerned with combining the physicality and expressiveness of sound structures with their vision, but also with deriving the methods of music production from the nature of the (electronic) medium itself.
