Gerald VDH

Gerald VDH is the founder and mastermind of the infamous Meat Market parties in Vienna, the prosperous capital of Austria. For almost a decade he has been organizing an outrageous number of techno nights that are firmly rooted in the LBGTIQ+ community.

Since Gerald is a DJ first and a producer second, his main ambition is to travel and play his favorite music in front of audiences after all over the world. His sets explore various genres of electronic music while maintaining a balanced energy that will keep the dance floor occupied for hours. With gigs at clubs like MMA Munich, Distillery Leipzig and (his favorite venue in the world) Berghain Berlin, Gerald has made a name for himself as a performer and music lover who would give his life to save the punter's night.

In 2017 Gerald founded label Meat Recordings. The imprint specializes in pret-a-dancer techno music with a focus on quality and groove. The label has so far released fifteen releases, six of which were also released on vinyl. Providing the soundtrack for the movie Nevrland (2019) is another highlight in Gerald's life. He just finished work on his first full-length album, which will hit the shelves on June 10, 2022.
