Haarlem Social Group

This is a group for anyone looking to find friends and socialise in Haarlem, Netherlands.

**By the community for the community:**
If you want to organise any events yourself, please get in touch and I will help you set them up.

We are a mixed group that meets for drinks regularly and also occasionally organises supping, hiking in nature, music nights, bake-offs, days out, picnics, bike rides, game nights and anything you can think of!

We want this to be a group where everyone feels welcome and a community is created where real friendships can flourish.
**Join this group if you like smaller, cosier meetups with friendly people**. We live in an impersonal age of technology and it can be really hard to make friends in a new place.

If you like larger gatherings with more people, have a look at [ExpatsHaarlem](https://www.meetup.com/expatsHaarlem/). They organise drinks once a month which are generally much bigger.

We generally speak English, but we have many Dutch members as well.

**Donations needed:**
We run on a donation basis to cover essential expenses, support events and keep the behind-the-scenes magic going.
