Honey T

Honey T is not only a DJ but also a producer. Honey's journey to drum'n'bass was, in a sense, the opposite. He started listening to drum'n'bass in 2004. The newly discovered music was so close to him that he immediately bought turntables and started training, without first going to events or knowing that there was already a jungle community in Karlovy Vary, his hometown . He learned to play according to instructions from the Internet, how to mix house. Honey came to the world of drum and bass alongside Akira, who drove Honey to quite a few events in the Czech Republic. In 2005, Honey entered Spabreakers spa booking. Since then, he has also started writing articles for Shadowbox. In 2007, he received an offer he couldn't refuse - he was accepted into the Shadowbox family. During his work, Honey visited many corners of the Czech Republic and played in the most famous Prague clubs - Roxy, Matrix, Cross and others. He had the honor of playing alongside famous names such as Ed Rush, D Bridge, Calibre, Blu Mar Ten, Mathematics or Commix. If you are planning to go to an event where Honey plays, expect an epic melodic set covering multiple styles: dnb, garage, dubstep or breaks. His sets include turntablistic tricks and digital effects.

In 2010, he founded the Drumy i Nedrumy project. For now, club night after bigger or smaller clubs, which emphasizes musical color. Since 2011, he has been organizing the Prague instance of the SoundCloud Meetup project, which aims to introduce local producers of various styles, for the purpose of discussion to collaboration. In 2012, Honey changes her pseudonym to Honey T. Honey T contributes once a month "Hearing to the Future" and "Free Tunes" articles on the Shadowbox website. Other regular or irregular conceptual activities are: Sound Night, 2step Garage Session, dnb stage at Stardust in Acropolis. In parallel with djing, Honey was and is increasingly interested in producing his own songs. He likes a deep sound in a broken style regardless of bpm. Honey prefers synthesizing sounds over sampling. He now creates his own production in Ableton.
