Iggy Mayerov

Iggy Mayerov is an alt/dream pop four-piece band from Prague, which first made its mark on the Czech scene in 2019 with the single Ride. With him, they reached the finals of the Startér Radio Wave competition and opened the door for them to other Czech radio stations. Since then, their music can be regularly heard on Radio 1 or Expres FM. They play in the composition of Tereza Dusilová (vocals and guitar), Michal Pilař (guitar), Jakub Pilař (bass) and Martin Griner (keyboards, synths).

In autumn 2022 they released their debut album Millennial Cliché in collaboration with producer Daniel Šubrt. This is followed by a collaboration with Lazer Viking, winner of the Anděl award, with whom the band recorded the Lovesick EP. The lyrics of the four songs reflect the themes of relationships, and each one offers a different perspective - from the excitement of new beginnings, through the fear of loneliness and the desire to fit in, to the realization of one's own values ​​and the courage to leave captured patterns.
