Initi

INITI is a Prague studio of artists, musicians and technicians participating in more technically demanding realizations in public space. The focus is mainly on interactive site-specific projects based on the symbiosis of visual and sound components. The essence of audiovisual installations is the transformation of real space into an illusory environment of virtual reality using exact calculations. Emphasis is also placed on the specificity of places, which becomes an essential layer of inspiration for the creation of new visual contents. The interior spaces often encourage interactive encounters with the audience or performers, who themselves become creators of light tracks and soundscapes.

This creative group was founded by Prague artist Dan Gregor, other collaborators are programmers Ondřej Průcha, Michal Rydlo, CGI animator Dalibor Cée and musicians and sound designers Ondřej Skala, Floex, Dikolson.
