Jakub Doležal

Saxophonist Jakub Doležal has been working on the Prague music scene since 1999, he decided to form his own band in 2007. At that time he had a lot of experience with bands such as Los Quemados, Jan Kořínek & Groove, Extempore, Heart , Phishbacher, Benedict or Ondřej Pivec Organic Quartet. In his group he applies not only as an author, but also as an arranger of songs by Pink Floyd, Beatles or Joy Division. Šaldy in Liberec, where he played until June 2016. In May, he was the only Czech participant to be a semifinalist at the Prague Spring International Interpretation Competition. Since January of the same year he joined the Prague State Opera Orchestra, where he is currently operating.
