Jan Vojtek
Brno native Jan Vojtek sat on the piano for the first time at the age of five. Three times he became the winner of the Amadeus International competition in Brno (2002–2004), the absolute winner of the Prague Junior Note in Prague (2003) and the absolute winner and winner of the Grand Prix Gradus Ad Parnassum in Kaunas (2004). Since 2005 he studied with prof. Jiří Doležel from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. He was the winner of the International Competition in Košice and Ústí nad Labem (2007). He gained great experience with official participation in the international competition Gina Bachauer in Salt Lake City, USA (2008). He performed with the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc and also with the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra in Lithuania. With the Orchestra of the National Theater in Brno, he completed a "Mozart" tour of Japan. In 2011 he again won absolute victory in the international competition in Kaunas in Lithuania and at the same time became the absolute winner in the Hungarian national competition of secondary music schools.
