Jaroslav Svěcený
Jaroslav Svěcený (born December 8, 1960 in Hradec Králové) is a Czech violinist. To his credit, he has recorded more than forty-one compact discs of the world's violin repertoire. He is a popularizer and promoter of classical music. He is also a forensic expert in the field of stringed (stringed) instruments.
His solo career began during his studies at the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts, where he studied with prof. František Pospíšil and prof. Václav Snítil. He completed his education with master classes with world-famous virtuosos Nathan Milstein and Gidon Kremer.
Jaroslav Svěcený is a famous popularizer of the violin, especially his television, radio and concert projects attract audiences of all age groups. Jaroslav Svěcený has so far recorded over 40 CDs with works by world and Czech authors, for which he received many gold or platinum records. Jaroslav Svěcený is also a recognized connoisseur of violin history and construction. Long-term charitable activity is an integral part of his artistic work.
For more than twenty years he has collaborated or is collaborating with performers of various genres on joint projects, which he considers extremely important for the promotion of classical music among the younger generation. The most striking and successful effort in this area is undoubtedly the Vivaldianno project, which he co-creates with rock musician Michal Dvořák (member of the band Lucie).
