Javory

The group Javory was founded by Petr Ulrych in 1974. In his songs, he followed the roots of Moravian folklore and thus paved the way for other songwriters who adopted this language as their own. People like Vlasta Redl or Jiří Pavlica owe him a lot in this sense. From today's point of view, we could describe his work as "Moravian world music". About the concerts with her sister Hana and Javory, she says: "Live performances are the most important part of what we do. That's why we really want to make it clear from each of our performances what we've been aiming for since our beginnings: to play and sing for real, not pretend to be anything we're not. Simply put - to bring quality songs." The listening experience is further enhanced by the beautiful and warm voice of Hana Ulrychová, who has been a fixture on the Czech music scene for several decades.
