Jiří Rajniš
He is a member of the Junge Ensemble at the Dresden Semperoper in the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons. From the 2013/2014 to 2016/2017 season, he was officially "the youngest Czech opera singer in permanent foreign engagement" at the Landestheater Coburg (Germany). He studied music and drama at the Prague Conservatory and subsequently opera singing at the prestigious UCLA Herb Alpert in the class of Vladimir Chernov in Los Angeles. He became the absolute winner of the Prague Singer 2008 competition and was also a semi-finalist in the Antonín Dvořák International Competition in Karlovy Vary 2008. He performed as a guest at the Karlín Musical Theater in Prague, the National Theater Brno, DJKT Plzeň and also collaborated with the Prague Children's Opera, the Prague Chamber Opera ( tour in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France), Virtuosi di Praga ad. His debut as the youngest Czech Don Giovanni abroad took place at the Sommer Oper Bamberg 2013 festival. He also performs in concert, especially in Germany. He also collaborated with the Bamber Philharmonic and others. He made his debut in the one-act operas Chytračka, Měsíc at the Prague National Theater and in June 2018 staged the Albert (Werther) at the National Theater.
