Komediograf
The Komediograf Theater is the theater of one author – Luboš Balák.
Luboš Balák was born on 22 June 1970. He graduated from JAMU Brno, majoring in theater dramaturgy. In the years 2001–2004, he was the artistic director of the Goose on a String theater. In the years 2005–2009, he was the artistic director of HaDivadla, Brno. Since 2010, he has been working as a freelance writer, playwright and screenwriter. Luboš Balák is the author of a number of plays, some of which have been awarded - The Death of Hubert Perna - Alfréd Radok Foundation Award, Fan and Prostitute - Award at the World Festival of Young Playwrights in Australia in Townsville. His plays have been performed in several theaters - Studio Marta, Theater at seven and a half, HaDivadlo, Theater Goose on a String, National Theater, Prague, Theater Society of Petr Bezruč, Ostrava, Theater Bolka Polívky, Brno, Theater Na zábradlí, Prague. Luboš Balák is also the author of the series of theatrical parodies, sketches and slapstick Komediograf, which has been performed since 1997 until today, with more than 700 reruns. As an author and director, he collaborates with the most prominent actors - Pavel Liška, Bolek Polívka, Milan Šteindler, Josef Polášek, David Matásek, Tomáš Matonoha, Zuzana Kronerová and many others.
