Kontua

Kontua is an energetic three-member band that combines modern rock/metal with electronics and an emphasis on quality sound. It was founded in 2020 and is made up of experienced musicians from various corners of the Czech Republic, united by a passion for rhythm, melody and precise production.

A typical element of their work is tuned seven-string guitars in combination with sophisticated electronic elements, which together create a characteristic sound. Kontua prides itself on the fact that it handles all production — from composing, mixing and mastering to shooting video clips — completely under its own direction and at a professional level. Thanks to this, their music has a distinctive signature and every detail is under full control.

Their first released EP called "12558" was created in English, but the latest work is exclusively in Czech, which gives them greater authenticity.

Live, the band impresses not only with energy and commitment, but above all with the precise sound on which it is based.
