Kristina Vocetková
cellist Kristina Vocetková focuses on chamber music and her solo activities. In addition to recital activities, he will perform with orchestras such as the Brno Philharmonic or the Chamber Orchestra of Jaroslav Kocian. Recently, she has also discovered enthusiasm for the music of Astor Piazzola and his followers. Together with accordionist Milan Řehák, he performs at recitals not only in the Czech Republic but also abroad. Bohuslav Martinů's music and the prize for the most successful participant in the category of chamber ensembles without piano. Based on this success, they will play their recital debut at the Prague Spring Spring Festival and will perform a concert for violin and cello Johannes Brahms at the Bennewitz festival. They founded the Trio Bohémo. A few months after their foundation, they won the second prize at the prestigious Gianni Bergamo Classic Music Award in Lugan, Switzerland. After this success, they received an invitation to Le Dimore del Quartetto, an organization associating the most gifted young European ensembles. Since 2020, they have been members of the European Academy of Chamber Music, where they study under the leadership of renowned professors such as Hatto Beyerle, Dirk Mommertz, Johannes Meissl, Avedis Kouyoumdjian and Patrick Jüdt. They presented themselves in concert halls across Europe, such as Nagyter in Budapest Liszt Ferenc Academy or Tivolivredenburg in Utrecht. In the 2020/2021 season, they will have a recital debut in Wigmore Hall, London and will perform at the Gent Festival Van Vaneren in Belgium, Kloster Konlyte St. Blasien in Germany or EuroArt Festival in Prague. She is the winner of many competitions, such as Anton Rubinstein's international competitions (Germany), the Bohuslav Martinů Foundation (Czech Republic), International Cello Competitions of Liezen (Austria) and the Rudolf Matz competition (Croatia). As part of her studies, she completed championship courses with C. Moralquez, R. Aaron, R. Leonard, R. Wallfische, D. Geringas, J. Pernoo, R. Garioud and others. In the Czech Republic and abroad, she regularly acts as a soloist as part of chamber ensembles. It has been presented at many festivals, such as International Festival Kutná Hora, Rome Chamber Music Festival or EuroArt . She performed in Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Switzerland, Slovenia, Italy, Germany, France and the USA.
