Lenka Nová

Lenka Nová (born September 19, 1974 in Brno) is a Czech singer, actress and author.

"A singer with an unmistakable velvet alto." She comes from Brno, where she started singing in local rock bands. After that, she worked in the band Laura and her Tigers for 12 years, with which she played hundreds of concerts and released several albums. Since 2008, he has been working closely with the lyricist Michal Horáček. With him, she recorded the albums Endangered Species, Czech Calendar and in 2016 the album Forty, where she is not only a performer, but also a music author. He has been on the solo track since 2012. She released three solo albums Nová deska (2003), Psí hodina (2012) and the already mentioned Forty (2016). In the spring of 2020, she released her fourth solo album Dopisy. Since 2012, he has been regularly performing concerts throughout the Czech Republic, either alongside Michal Horáček, Petr Malásk, or Ondřej Ruml.

In June 2024, he will go on the Vila Tour – a series of chamber concerts in architecturally interesting places that are interesting not only in terms of construction, but also in terms of people. Places that were accompanied by strong human stories, just like in Lenka Nová's songs.
