Lidová muzika z Chrástu
Folk music from Chrást is a folklore ensemble consisting mainly of pupils and graduates of the Elementary Art School in Chrást. The ensemble was created in 2007 by a small music, led by Irena and Roman Kaas. The aim is not to technically perfect interpretation of "folk art", but the truth of the expression of individual musicians and the whole band. The stylized costumes, based on the suit of the Pilsen burgher of the late 19th century, also contribute to this. The aim is that no one on the stage does not have the same color of the costume so that everyone is unmistakable. Music performs in a typical cast of string and wind instruments, including Czech bagpipes, which in some cases complement modern tools or unusual percussion.
