Líheň

Líheň is an electronic didgeridoo by Ondřej Smeykal, accompanied by projected images of mechanical intoxicants by performer Petr Niklo.

This performative event is based on a dialogue of light and sound. With the help of original painting techniques, moving objects and original mechanisms, Nikl creates unique light projections - variable, fantastic and rich in images. The musical component is provided by Smeykal on an electronic didgeridoo, which in his view functions as an organic synthesizer: a unique instrument combining sound depth with technological variability. The result is a focused and visceral production that connects human creativity with technology in harmonious tension.
