Lucie Silkenová

Lucie Silkenová is a Czech opera singer. She graduated from the Music Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and further developed her art at master classes abroad. She succeeded in important singing competitions. She performs concerts all over Europe and captivated audiences in Japan, Brazil and Egypt. She performed, for example, with the BBC Symphony Orchestra in London, the Budapest Festival Orchestra on tour in Europe, the Czech Philharmonic in the USA, the Symphony Orchestra of Prague FOK, Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and many other musical ensembles. He works with important conductors. He is a frequent guest of international music festivals. She is a regular guest of the National Theater in Prague and the Prague State Opera, and has also performed in opera houses in Liberec, Pilsen and Ostrava. He considers his greatest operatic success to be the performance of the main role in Janáček's The Little Vixen directed by Roberto Carsen at the Italian Teatro Regio di Torino. She has recorded several CDs, including B. Martinů: What Man Live By with the Czech Philharmonic and conductor Jiří Bělohlávek, which won the Anděl prize in the classical category.
