Marek Hlavica

Marek Hlavica is a Czech journalist, communication expert and musician.

As a musician, he is known primarily among fans of jazz, blues and soul. In the eighties and nineties, he formed one third of the blues trio Docet (P. Jurkovič and P. Hudec). Another important stage was the soul rock formation Žáha, where Hlavica, under the pseudonym SoulM, established himself not only as a singer and harmonica player, but above all as an author. Tucet and Žáha released a total of 4 albums (Sony Music and self-published), the groups appeared on festival and club stages at home and abroad. Recently, Hlavica occasionally performs with various blues and jazz groups (Voice & Toys, Žáha, Luboš Andršt Band etc.). His first album is called Solitaire MH.
