Mestská časť Bratislava – Nové mesto

The urban part of Bratislava-Nové Mesto occupies the northeastern part of the capital of the Slovak Republic, Bratislava.

Its territory consists of the Malý Carpathian massif in the north and northwest and the lowland area of ​​the Danube Plain in the northeast and south, lying between the foothills of the mountains and a former branch of the Danube.

It has an area of ​​37.5 km² (37,481,484 m²). It is located at 48.167402 ° north latitude and 17.138157 ° east longitude.

The urban part has 43,600 inhabitants (as of 01/02/2015), in 1991 it had 40,125 inhabitants, in the cadastral the territory of Nové Mesto used to have 31,712 inhabitants.
