Metastavy

The Prague quartet Metastavy performs with a mixture of soul, jazz and hip-hop, which is complemented by the lyrics of their frontwoman Anna Hokešová. Her lyrics are gently declaimed rather than rapped. He is not afraid of intimacy in them and honestly writes about his experiences and feelings. In 2019, the band released their debut album Až vyrostu, with which they received well-received reactions and consolidated their position on the Czech alternative scene.
