NIKOLITZA

NIKOLITZA is a Serbian musician living in the Czech Republic for years, who combines the melodies of his native Balkans with Prague electronics in his music. Through this mixing of languages and cultural influences, which he translates into industrial beats with the tension of post-punk and the catchiness of turbo-folk, he creates an in-between space - neither quite here nor quite there - in which he oscillates between the energy of night rave parties and his own vulnerability, which he thematizes in the form of identity, sexuality, desire and the feeling of living between two worlds.

On his debut EP Miluj me, created in collaboration with producer and composer ICATERINA, leads the audience through a dark and emotional soundscape, which one returns home from a warehouse party at dawn, when the heart is still beating to the rhythm of the previous night, but the euphoria in the head is slowly leaving one.
