ProQuote Film

ProQuote Film is a film policy association that is committed to intersectional gender equality, diversity and inclusion in film, television and streaming formats. Our goal is to pave the way for more FLINTAQ* in front of and behind the camera. We represent over 400 female and diverse filmmakers in Germany who work in various areas of the film and television industry (screenplay, production, direction, camera, acting, sound, lighting, set design, costume, make-up, stunts and much more). We include fictional as well as documentary and animated formats.

We have been meeting with broadcasters and politicians for many years to sensitize those responsible for our issues and to obtain commitments. We issue statements and program complaints if we see the rights of women* being significantly violated in film and TV productions. We speak to the press and are consulted as experts on topics such as gender stereotypes, sexist stereotypes, gender bias and film politics. In addition to our political work, we regularly organize congresses, panels and workshops at film festivals such as the Berlinale and the Munich Film Festival.
