Robert Henke

As one half of the cult duo Monolake, Robert Henke is responsible for one of the first functional fusions of dub and minimal techno. However, his influence on (not only) club music goes far beyond the boundaries of the genre. Together with Gerhard Behles (formerly the other half of Monolake), he is the founder of Ableton, the company behind the music production and performance software of the same name - the way his invention has influenced the current world of electronic music is therefore immeasurable.
