Roman Rai

DJ Roman Rai, real name Roman Hořínek, has been playing since 1995, when he first got behind the turntables at the C19 club in Kladno. In 1997, he became a resident at this club and transferred his art to club nights under the name Boomerang. It didn't take long for DJ Roman Rai to establish himself in Prague's leading clubs. The first thing that brought Roman to the attention of a wider audience was the Future Sound of Roxy compilation, which he mixed for Tripmag magazine together with DJ Lucas. The sets from this compilation were also often played on Radio 1.

Roman has very elaborate sets in which he likes to combine different styles into a compact whole. In his work, you can often hear melodic and sometimes even hypnotic sounds that accurately respond to the current atmosphere in the club. His progressive house style is so unmistakable that it often creates a unique atmosphere for clubgoers.
