Ruchadze Band – Amsterdam Beyond

The Ruchadze Band was formed at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s, and its first performance was at the Strahov dormitories in Club No. 1. At that time, she achieved success with the interpretation of soul and blues classics. However, its main protagonist Konstantin Ruchadze emigrated to Holland, where he still lives today.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Konstantin Ruchadze came to Prague for his first visit and after meeting the other members of the original Ruchadze Band, the idea arose to return to their common roots. The first concerts and the very favorable responses of the listeners to the music, which strikes with its ferocity and distinct spontaneity, combined with the musical maturity of the musicians, became the motivation for the members of the group to continue in the chosen direction.
