Ryan Harris

Ryan Harris is a Canadian musician and filmmaker based in Whistler, British Columbia. He grew up in Canada, New Zealand and Australia, from where his family returned to Canada permanently when he was fifteen.

He began recording and composing music in his home studio in Whistler. He is inspired by surf culture and artists such as Ben Howard, Jack Johnson and the John Butler Trio, among others. Since 2021, he has also been composing music for film projects.

In 2023, he performed as an opening act for the duo Ocie Elliott and subsequently held a sold-out tour of Canada and Europe. His work has reached more than 100 million streams on online platforms as of 2021. In 2024, he released the EP All The Light and in August 2025 the new singles Show Me Something and Sold Me a Dream followed, which is classified in the folk genre.
