SKUTR

SKUTR is a directing tandem made up of directors Martin Kukučka and Lukáš Trpišovský.

SKUTR's original performances combine dance, movement, acrobatics, puppets, projections, light design, text and sound and could be described in one word for multi-genre or cross-over. They are inspired either by the given topic or place of creation or by the people who work on it. This resulted in performances inspired by internet communication, performances that drew on Andersen's themes, performances on traditions or inspired by the new circus. In addition to free creative work, Martin Kukučka and Lukáš Trpišovský also direct on leading Czech and foreign stages. Recently, they have been more and more interested in combining music and theater, and their work is beginning to move towards opera direction.
