Slzy Janka Borodáča
Janka Borodáč's tears is a theater association primarily in Prešov. The name of the group refers to the name of the founder of the Slovak professional theater. Janko Borodáč was born in 1892 in Prešov. In 1919 he was the first Slovak to study acting at the Prague Conservatory. It is considered the first Slovak professional director. For his lifelong reverent inclination to psychological realism, he was considered an art conservative during his career, and his uncritical political attitudes in times of totalitarian regimes also evoked antipathy. The name of the theater therefore refers to a representative of traditionalism, who would not approve the work of the theater and probably would "cry". [email protected]
