Spevácky zbor Cantiamo VŠMU

The Cantiamo VŠMU choir was created at the initiative of Vladimír Sirota for the VŠMU project Slovak SOUND 2018 (Platform for the implementation of concerts of the Academy of Performing Arts abroad). The main impulse in the establishment of the choir was the intention to combine students of individual departments into a common vocal body, which would give them a new space for their artistic growth, enrichment of musical knowledge and, last but not least, getting to know each other within different departments. The choirmaster and conductor of the Cantiamo VŠMU Choir Ladislav Kaprinay, who has been artistically led by the Choir since its inception, has made a significant contribution to the quality of the artistic establishment of this grouping.
